Pros

The marble body is 7 1/8” wide by 6 5/ 8” tall by 3” deep. The overall height and dimensions are smaller than i imagined but work excellently as a side table or desk lamp. Muted lighting yet bright enough to light a small space.

The marble matches some of the stone on my new fireplace so it is perfect. And the price is ridiculously great. I really like amazon-branded accessories.

The cord is rather long and it came with a very nice lamp shade which is encased in plastic. The on/off switch is oversized and on the cord about 12 inches from the base so there’s never any need to reach under the lampshade to find the switch. The ba... Read More

The base is a slim square--with lightly sparkling marble--the shade is the same shape but larger. The knob on top for keeping the shade in place is a cute brass cube. The light bulb included gives off a warm toned glow.

It's elegant and streamlined. Base is easy to keep dusted.

Cons

The design is lovely and we are just going to put up with imperfection. There was styrofoam all over the lamp. The shade, as used under the bulb, is way too wide.

Shipping

Arrived in 2 days in perfect condition shade and lamp.

It took forever for it to arrive; but now that its finally here i love it.

I called amazon and they sent another to me in a couple of days - easy as pie.

Packaging/appearance

It comes very well packed and includes the light bulb.

That said it was well packed and quite handsome.

The only issue was the ridiculous styrofoam used in the packaging that disintegrated at the slightest touch and made a huge mess.

This lamp arrived so well packaged that it took more time unpacking it than assembling it.

Competitiveness

Compared with west elm and cb2 lamps and kept this one!

Just what we wanted; i really like amazon-branded accessories - the winning streak continues.
