The one thing to keep in mind with stoneware is they really should not be used in a microwave as they get hot so if you are going to reheat something take if off the platebowl and put it in or on something else for microwaving purposes

I was initially somewhat disappointed with the colors when i first opened the boxthe specks are a dark tanlight brown and the background color a very pale bluebluetinged white

We have been careful to make sure that we supervise the kids when they use the dinnerwares as one of them almost fell and broke

I’m not sure if it’s a flaw or a design element but there is a whitish blue ring around the middle of every piece

This dinnerware set is gorgeous unfortunately several chipped during the first wash before we ever got to use them

As a friend has pointed out to me this pattern would it perfect for use at a beach house as the swirl is quite reminiscent of natural patterns in shells
