The light is a cool white tone made a bit more yellow by the lampshade

This is pretty bright with the lampshade on though so not for soft lighting

I always hide the cords so having the power switch hidden makes lamps a pain to use

The wireless charging works well when the device is aligned correctly

God forbid you look at it the wrong way and the device wiggle in fear because it will randomly stop charging
