Pros

It is still very sturdy regardless. It is sturdy and classy. No complaints whatsoever.

This gorgeous desk lamp is both elegant and functional with a rustic industrial appeal. Works well for us because it doesn't take up too much real estate on the desk, but provides ample lighting.

The shade is matte black. It's a bit masculine but not overly so. It adds a real touch of elegance to the decor.

Found out that * the led bulb in tightly solved that issue.
