The fabric is beautiful. The upholstery is also great quality and feels thick and durable. The interior is solidly built stained wood.

We stow our blankets neatly inside - they hold a lot more than you would think! It has storage space inside for an extra blanket, books or deck of cards and the top also flips over as a tray.

Cons

Though an attractive piece of furniture, i was dismayed by the construction as noted above. One corner looks like it either had contact w/chemical or white paint sprayed onto it. Flip top not connected to cushion.
