This accent table is made with steel, real wood (not mdf) and marble (or possibly granite).
The wood is solid (not laminates) and the frame is one solid (not welded) piece.
It shouldn't be an issue structurally, but you can tell the texture differences when you look at the table top in average light.
It's thick and has a nice grain, but there are clearly some areas where the marble wasn't perfect and it has been patched.

Love love love this of course it was on sale after i bought it but it's amazing and i love it!

My one compliant is the marble
