In fact it gives off so much light since the bulbs arent covered that i would recommend making sure this is used to light a larger room or a room with a higher ceiling that it can hang higher up on

I find its very effective a few feet above standing height as it really gives it a chance to illuminate a room but the detail of the edison bulbs can still be admired
