There are no rough edges and the rubberized bottom is flush against the bottom. Stainless steel (no ceramics/unregulated coating inside) and the non skid on the bottom keeps him from sliding it all over my floor.

This is my first amazon review because holy * - these bowls are awesome. Nice quality as expected!

The colors are wonderful and the quality exceeds expectations. The dark blue + stainless steel is beautiful to look at. It matches my indoor decor perfectly.
