Pros

The product is good but no product is flawless. A new unit was shipped and received a few days later. All other intended uses work as advertised.

Make sure to clean the windshield and moisten the suction cup before mounting on the windshield. I have mine in a freightliner and it hasn't fallen off once. The suction is really great and there's a knob that locks in the camera.

Cons

Camera works well for a month or so, then turns off and on every few minutes. If the sun is on the dashcam it makes the image streaky. Highest quality recording and still blurry enough that its useless to me.

If this product had costed $35, then ok it's disposable and just get another. Anker already offers better dash cams like the s1 that are more superior at a lower cost that's less than three digits compared to this one.

The only solution to force the cam into parking mode is to unplug the charger. No matter what temperature it sticks for about 3-5 minutes and immediately falls off. The heat jsut causes too many glitches and issues.

This is very disappointing. Not sure why. Below is what has transpired since then. Couldn't be more disappointed or let down.

I would recommend this dash cam, and it is worth every penny!

What is important to me is what happened after the sale.

I thought that was cheap so i provided the information they required and they shipped a replacement right away.

Shipping

I contacted tech support and received a response the next day to trouble shoot.

The company responded quickly when i had problems and replaced the unit as soon as it was determined that it could not be fixed.

A new unit was shipped and received a few days later.

We contacted customer service and they immediately responded by sending a replacement mounting bracket.

Packaging/appearance

First impressions were mainly about how well packaged it was and how much it actually came with.

Competitiveness

They really did an awesome job on this dash cam, compared to others i’ve experienced.
