This is a really good radio with the quality you expect from roberts.
Good sound quality and battery life with the help of the solar panels on top.
As for sound quality i gave it a 5 as lets face it, it is what it is - its not a flamin' bose £200+ radio - its a £82.
Clearly if you want better sound quality, then the size of the radio would need to be larger.
Price
A perfect compassionate a very reasonable price.
Competitiveness
Had the chance to trial this radio as i new someone who already had one,the radio looked good ,was trully portable,easy to set up and use.

It is quite exciting watching it being charged up by sunlight but when there is little sunlight and it needs charging by the wall socket it does not take long to recharge

My first dab radio which i bought years ago went though batteries so quickly it was impossible to keep upbut am pleased to report still on my first charge so very pleased with battery lifedid not want a radio that used custom battery pack

The radio is simple to set up its easy to use amazon suggests you buy rechargeable batteries with it but it comes with them included one of the first instructions tells you to set the radio for the particular batteries which i did and i have had no battery problems
