Roborock dyad is a true redesign and upgrade to the original. Smart technology gives it sensing and an extra boost to pick up those larger items. App is clear and concise.
No futzing with taking out rollers or parts to dry thanks to the self drying roller tech. You have to listen to know it’s in the drying mode. It picks up the wet messes. The drying part takes a longer time, maybe one hour?

Cons
They want me to package it up and drop it off at ups, and then eventually send me a repaired/replaced unit at some point in the future? There is no reason why a machine that costs this much would only work for 6 months.

I will continue to monitor the situation, but for now i am once again satisfied with this product.
We received the dyad pro today, was able pair with the app easily, and update the firmware.
This is not the quality that i had gotten accustomed to roborock, and i am very disappointed with this.
However after a few weeks i found that everytime i cleaned with the vacuum there was a foul scent.

Using it every other day, i can’t even believe how dirty the water is when i empty the container.
Competitiveness
I have a roborock robot vacuum and that is a quality product as well but this thing is next level amazing.
I had a corded crosswave we never used and upgraded to this when it was on sale.
So far every roborock product has really shocked us and this guy is no different.

I then realised that the scent was coming from the rollers

And this was despite the fact that i did a auto self clean and drying each time it was docked after use

I set the drying fuction to 3 hours and after 3 hours the rollers were still wet

Now i have 2 units one for upstairs and one for downstairs and this happens with both units
