Pros & Cons
Pros
It does what would be expected from the likes of a swiffer wet jet after a pass or 2. The vacuuming on the other hand does extremely well. It cleans well, is super smart and worth the price.
It has a powerful vacuum and it cleans our hardwood/ceramic floor like a champ. I have mostly finger brushed hardwood, but also have a number of flat rugs (wicker under my kitchen table which it cleans under with all chairs and benches flawlessly) no ... Read More
Clean latifa handles human hair well, (without self destructing like almost every other one on the market) it fits a tonnnnn of hair and actually utilizes its space aerodynamically. The challenge is 2 young children and 2 very large dogs, one of which... Read More
The navigation is superior, the mapping is great. The ability to save maps and divide them into individual rooms is priceless.
The self-emptying is a huge timesaver. It's quieter than my shark i used before.
Cons
Software is fantastic but the fundamentals are lacking. Shark ai is a cheaper and all around better robot.
Highlights
Quality
Thw product is great at vacuuming both carpet and hard wood and it does great with the transition.
My only complaint is with the short password allowed for the unit.
Buy a dumb amount for $20 and just toss em with the laundry every day or two.
Yep - but for the sake of the time i don't have to spend dealing with the rest i'm ok with that.
Packaging/appearance
In the short time i have ran the roborock q7+ max in my home it has been life changing.
Haven't tested the mop yet, but to me that is just icing on the cake.
Right out of the box it was so disappointing, i ordered the roborock q7 max+ as a replacement.
Competitiveness
I enjoy a lot of smarthome devices and they are not always wife and kid approved but this vacuum has been very well received.
We got this one to replace an older model roborock that was starting to lose suction power.
So the next one i bought i made sure it had a mapping ability (roborock s6).
The roborock q7+ max on the other hand is as hassle free as it gets.
