Pros

Love this design, there's really just two downside to these types of drives that apply to all of them. They get hot and they can be difficult to grab the microsd card. After straightening the device worked properly.

Cons

I always disconnect/eject properly and yet the adapters failed me.

Purchased this for my tesla model x dashcam/sentry mode and it works great!

Bottom line, i found in my environment it works for what i need it at speeds i'm more than happy with.

These modules run hot if to do not run them with a good strong power source.

I noticed when testing this against other, faster card readers, that the device throttles the speed unnecessarily.

Competitiveness

I've got other branded microsd cards which are much slower than sandisk.

Finally landed on this when i tried at least 5 different brands/kinds that i had.
