I had a similar pair for years still do to my wifes chagrin but they are finally starting to wear out after many years of comfortable wear

Also with our hard wood imitation floors the bottoms were a bit slick for some time prior to gaining their ability to grip a bit

They are a bit tight initially but they are slowly breaking in to a comfortable level
