Pros
There is a lot more stitching than glue, giving me the hopes that these shoes will last. They're comfortable, stylish in color, and offer the support he needs for his daily activities. These shoes are super supportive.
Although it's billed as a walking shoe, i use them for an office job. I work in an office where casual dress is the norm.
It's flexible and lightweight. Need to be careful when in busy public/airport bathrooms where the tile floors are often wet. It is a nice sturdy shoe that can be worn for dress.
Cons

These used to last years, now they seem to be horrid quality. It is time to chuck them. These shoes are absolute garbage.
The quality of these shoes is extremely poor. They are subpar for the price. The rest of the upper is manmade (plastic) leather. Horrid quality and not manufactured the same anymore.

The rockport eureka walking shoe is comfortable, stylish, and very affordable.
I will buy again if i find them discounted in price
Bonus was that the price was really good for leather shoes.
Competitiveness
As a former shoe salesman for a department store, i was very familiar with the rockport brand and styles of shoes.
I will buy more rockport shoes when necessary as they are one of the few companies that sell eeee shoes.
The comfort is on par with far more expensive brands.
Like all sound - husband wanted another brand.

Funny thing when i got these shoes one lace seemed way shorter than the other one even though they were laced the same and they were the same length when i finally took them out and replaced them
