Bought these needing shoes for 2 events. Fit perfectly. Otherwise satisfied. Most importantly, the fit makes them very comfortable.

Could use more insole for cushion. New model has a more slip resistant sole which was a shortcoming of the earlier models.

I have a big toe on my left foot that always rubs into the end of a shoe or sneaker and wears a hole in it. No rubbing, plenty of room for the toes.

Unfortunately, i'm beyond the return period, so i went to walmart and bought a pair of sneakers to finish out my vacation, paid 1/3 the cost of the rockports and they are more comfortable.

They eventually burst and the finish peeled off. This is shameful. However they have no longevity.

The sole is glued not sowed to the upper. The shoe (the upper portion) is not made of real, top grain leather. There is a sticker on the bottom of the shoe that says leather/man-made upper.
