The nubuck is a brownish green and much lighter than the rich brown the old ones were. They're super comfortable but, they look weird. Great support, great fit.

These are terrific shoes. I think the shoe may fit a tad larger than expected, but by the end of the day, after my feet have swelled up a bit, i'm glad for the extra room.

They are adequately waterproof for heavy rain, if you avoid deep pools. They are classy, but durable. They have a matte finish, which is one of the main reasons i like them.

The durability of these shoes outshines the vast majority of footwear available. The dye seems to have penetrated into the leather, making normal wear and tear and scuffing less noticeable than with any other brand of shoes.

Cheap soles wear out too quickly. The soles are not really rubber (although they claim to be). It's more like a somewhat dense foam. The shoestrings with these shoes are terrible.
