Pros
They are soft in fit, but have a durable exterior. They were soaked but still comfortable. I like that it has metal eyelets since the cloth, tab-style eyelets always tear off.
The chranson has a lower profile heel and more cushion in the heel and toe. These are very stylish for my uniform.
Cons
The rubber section that is glued to the front of the shoe ends at the exact spot that the shoe bends when you shift onto your toes when you walk. The non leather toe protector is very thin weak material. The reinforced toe is not reinforced.
They are defective. Since i had them on for maybe 10% of my walking during the past almost 2 years since purchase, they're disappointing.

Had to hot glue it until i could get a different (more durable & comfortable) pair.
Price
They are a lot more comfortable than the diabetic prescribed shoes that i paid over $350 for.
Bought some sketchers 16898, a much more comfortable, durable and lower cost ($34) option.
Competitiveness
The other brand did not compare as they were not as supportive as the rockport shoe.
I don't like the paracord style shoelaces since they won't stay tied, although these aren't as bad as some other brands.
