Pros

Dressy enough for business casual use. These big ole shoes fit him beautifully.

They are durable, stylish and waterproof. Craftsmanship for the cost excellent. Also, the shoes endurance is very good.

Cons

Workmanship on the new ones is skimpy. Toe box is narrow, smaller and tighter. I have no idea what rockport is basing their sizes on these days.

While this problem was easily obviated with a circular, metal file, the question persists, why should i have to?

Insufficient support and cushioning. The soles are hard plastics. The tops of the shoes seem to come up high on the ankle and are uncomfortable.

Last purchase was made in india, not viet nam as my last two pairs. Could hardly fit my foot into them. They do not break in within a month. They are the last pair i'll buy.
