Pros

Replaced the insole with a 3/4 insole. Good traction outsole. Padding around tongue and above ankle is good. Durability of outsole is good.

Comfortable like a sneaker but looks nice enough for dress/business casual. Laces stay tied, unlike some other dressy shoes.

Cons

Not the same rockport. Im not sure if it was a bad batch or what, but i'm hoping better than this for the next rockport i purchase. As a 35 year, repeat customer, this shoe is a shell of its former self. I am unclear on rockport's strategy here.

My previous shoe is much softer and flexible. They are extremely stiff around the upper edge around the ankle.

These shoes are slippery and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, it wrecks my feet. Created a terrible blistered pair of already tired feet for my husband.

I have no idea what rockport is basing their sizes on these days, or why it changed the way it did. Toe box is narrow, smaller and tighter.
