These a very good quality slip resistant waterproof shoes.
Previous pair lasted 7 years before wearing a hole through the sole.
The materials scratches up pretty quick but in my opinion that’s part of the look.
Packaging/appearance
The shoe box arrived somewhat smashed and torn.
This is a gift for our sons birthday, however, my husband took a look at them once delivered, and now he wants a pair.
Competitiveness
I've tried many brands and rockport cannot be beat.
They cost slightly more than conventional brands but well worth the cost.
It was comparable to timberlands oiled oxford shoe.

Do take care with the suedelike exterior though as they will scuff fairly easy and the scuff marks stick around

These shoes generally have a tighter fit so i will buy in the wide version or a halfsize larger for the space as i have wide feet

They wear out after a year but i tried other similar rockports and they were too small
