Highlights
Quality
Sound quality is solid, and it’s definitely a big step up from what i was using before.
Amazing microphone, would love to use rode am for all my audio needs
My audio interface was under powered and it just didn’t deliver the sound levels needed.
I moved onto the rode xdm100 and i swear i tried my hardest to love it but the software wasn’t helpful at all and no matter wha... Read More
Price
I really wanted a decent, but reasonably priced, dynamic mic for podcasting, meetings, and training videos i create.
For me though i placed a hard cap of 200 usd all in for mic and audio interface and this was a perfect match here.
It is sad someone needs to spend another $20.
This guy delivers here at a price point that is not either shattering for me.
Competitiveness
I compared it to a lot of mics in my environment and honestly, it's not any better than the fifine tank3 from every test i do.
The build quality seems significantly better than the yeti, where a loose port killed it.
I have had other podmics (xlr) and these live up to that same standard and quality.

One thing to note is that you may need to boost the gain on this product to get the sound you want if you’re not using rodes own mixer
