Pros
Rode does an excellent job, and i am pleased to be their customer. The product packaging itself is very frustration-free, and is very organized. As a bonus, this package comes with a shock mount and pop filter.
Great mic for voice overs. Easy to set up, is very aesthetically pleasing. Nothing wrong with the mic. Bluemic snowball was my first snowball.
The sound from this microphone is exceptional. The sound is neutral, no coloration - just the way it should.
Cons
The nt1-a 'studio secrets' dvd is not included. One in a million factory defect, or a previously returned mic that somebody else damaged. Shady distributor selling defective fell off the truck devices.
Highlights
Quality
The sound quality is excellent; it's warm and clear, and it captures both the high and low ends of my voice, perfectly.
I am very pleased with the durability and performance.
The audio technica at2020), but its recording quality is honestly comparable to some microphones at triple its price point.
I haven't tested the nt-1a in this particular role, but the original could actually pick up the ticking off my wristwatch, which amazed me.

For the price, you can't find anything better.

Of course it doesnt have one unless specified if you want a usb mic youre looking in the wrong section
