Pros
It sounds a little flat without nice crispy highs, but a little bit of eq in post will fix it up nicely. Very pleased with this purchase for multiple audio scenarios.
The mic works well with a number of iphone apps without problems. Works very well with my iphone 7+ and the lightning to 3. Mm adapter. Works great plugged into my phone and recording on the free voice record 7 app.
The audio quality of the mic is fine. I like the unprocessed sound of the rode lav mic. Four hour long video shoots in windy conditions, and there's zero issues with the quality.
Cons
The free app isn't the easiest thing to use. The build quality of this mic is not good.

Voice quality is good and the recorded voice volume is fairly loud, i find other mics don't pick up my voice as well.

Just make sure you are ordering the right one as it is expensive and if you dont get the right one you will need a 20 dollar adapter
