Pros

This mic performs great, has an excellent mount and is just as functional as my old pro was. The boom pole is lightweight but sturdy, and is very easy to adjust.

    Out of curiosity and google replacement parts for sell with no luck i contacted rodes customer support to see if the mount can be purchased separately

    One note for canon users my first attempt at using this lead me to believe that the microphone was defective

    You need to push very hard on the audio connector to fully seat it into the cameras microphone connector

    The cable doesnt want to fully seat and as a result doesnt connect without a lot of pressure
