It seems that my kvm extender malfunctions about 9 months of use. The problem was discovered after a month of use with the extender.

Quality
Works flawlessly, the image/audio quality is truly lossless, i mean absolutely clear unlike an encoded mpeg.
Overall very happy with it so far.
I first bought 3 or 4 different hdmi cables, but i had many flickering image/sound issues each time, even with the premium quality ones.
I'm not sure the edid feature works completely, though i don't understand it fully either so i can't be sure.
Competitiveness
Stable 4k 60fps and hdr over a 15m ethernet cable.
I had to force windows to use 4k60 through the nvidia control panel and setting a 'custom resolution'.
I am sending 4k60 to my pc monitor over a distance.

I was struggling to find a way to link my pc up to my tv downstairs as the distance was a bit too far for a hdmi cable to be reliable and the various network methods i tried werent any where close to fast enough

I have noticed that it starts causing flicker when powered on sometimes and i think this might be solved sometimes by having the ethernet cable plugged in before power on

My desktop pc says it is connected to a 4k monitor regardless of what the slider is on

Its not based on tcpip so dont be surprised it wont work via switchrouter etc you need direct physical connection between the two

Not only the output imageaudio is absolutely identical to the source but the latency is nonexistent

I have mouse keyboard and game controller hooked up to this thing and i feel zero latency both input and output
