Pros

The flute sound is decent, except in the bottom octave, which would correspond to the first octave on an actual flute. The muted trumpet is pretty good. It's just a bit less forgiving than a regular sax, so you have to work on it.

The aerophone ae-05 connects immediately and cheerfully to ubuntu 20. It works on any os, including linux. It supports sax * out of the box, and other * systems. It's a great midi wind controller.

This is my first foray into synths of any kind, so i won't pretend any expertise. The sounds are generated by an internal pcm synth. You're using the app as an alternate synth, in addition to the one on the instrument.

Cons

Cons - none of the sax sounds sound anything like a sax. Some of the synth sounds are cool, if you're a sax player that wants to play synth without a keyboard, but why would you do that? Can't play chords. Huge latency issues with bluetooth.
