Pros

The td-07 sounds great through the monitor and the drums are accurate with flat eq settings. I do a lot of recording to open-reel decks and that one capability would have made things a lot easier for me.

Cons

This amp is not 80 watts as indicated. Drum modules are pretty good but their amps are horrible.

Price

The pm-200 is loaded down with all those options and connection capabilities, which in part, is the reason for the $200 jump in price.

Note that i added some info regarding the headphones that i use for my kit, which are incredibly good for drums, yet cost less than $50.

Shipping

The roland drum monitor arrived on time and it was easy to put together.

Arrived on time and everything was perfect.

Competitiveness

Had a 40w amp (other brand,), and switching to this 80w made a big improvement in the sound.

I didn't purchase any other options to compare, but i'm happy with this, except for the bottom end (more in this in a moment).

Which is why i preferred this over most pas.
