Roland does say that if you are using a condenser mic you do need to use phantom power which means you have to put batteries in it

You can accomplish this because of how light weight and small the mixer is while it delivers a serious audio minus surrounding noise

Not that it was advertised as mobile i was hope it would also solve that problem for me the comixer will remain an important part of my production package for instudio applications
