Pros

The mc-101 and sp-404 are a dream team. I toght that having only 4 channels will make it limited, but its actually enought! Some other options might be the akai mpc live. I am fond of the d50 patches, and there's a few more here than found on roland's... Read More

Cons

The lack of memory makes the looper function relatively useless. The mixer (mx-1) has one bar of sequencing but has no ability to eq nor compress. The screen and os are embarrassingly bad.

The drum samples sound bad. Be prepared to have to customize every kit heavily to attain reasonable sounding drums.

Sound design, samples, sequencing, scenes, a lot of presets, tone tracks, drum tracks (also with compression), looper tracks.

The performance knobs are labeled and give an impression of being fixed, but they are in fact fully assignable.

Price

Still worth every penny if you are on a budget, or want a much smaller device.

Really great set of presets and samples for the money.

I do feel it is slightly overpriced but i would have kept it had it had a song mode.

No complaints based on the price of the unit, it seems like a bargain.
