Easy to assemble. I think it was used as there was one screw in the package that looked to have drywall or cement on it.
I love this bookcase so much, it's not the sturdiness in the world but it is imo better than buying ikea bookcases. Bottom drawers are cloth and you can't put too much in them. Screws are all long, 4 per shelf, great design.
Cons
Wobbly at best when assembled. Smaller than pictured wood split when putting together.

The little cloth drawers on the bottom are not as nice looking as the shelves the handles look especially cheap but someone crafty could probably replace them

My guess is that its from the drawers which were made out of something cloth or plasticlike
