This embossed rolling pin is smaller than expected but works relatively well. The decorative design i purchased i am able to use all year long.

I haven't used it yet but it sits right out on the counter it is so pretty

Rolling pin thickness rings need be used with this decorative roller because you cant press the roller into the dough equally throughout so one end of say a dough ornament will be thick and the other thin

I would pick a cookie recipe that has stiff dough that keeps it shape or it might melt down

I used a regular rolling pin with my thickest guards and used the embossed pin with the next level guards

You do need to press harder for the imprint to be seen on the dough after baking

I do flour the rolling pin to help with the dough getting stuck into the design
