Works amazingly i use it for my ps4 to hook up a 1tb hard drive i took out of a dvr.

*i used a seagate barracuda st1000dm010 1tb 7200 rpm 64mb cache sata 6.

I used a 2tb drive that is specifically optimized for dvr use and so far all is well.
