Pros & Cons
Pros
The starter provides hot charcoals very quickly due to the ample ventilation holes surrounding its circumference. Nylon grips on the stay cool handle and bail make it easy to handle hot coals. This really is a wonderful tool for grilling out and getti... Read More
Nice sized chimney starter, very durable and reliable. No more replacing charcoal chimneys every year or two. My guys man the bbq weekly now when our son visits, and that is a treat for all of us.
Yes, it's pricey, but you'll be able to pass this down to your kids. It's built like a tank completely of stainless steel. I cant imagine ever needing to replace it. It also is stainless, so it will last.
Highlights
Quality
Quality stainless and lights charcoal ready for use in minutes with no fuss.
Well built, handles do not get hot, good airflow.
Stainless steel takes on an interesting variety of colors as it heats and cools, and this was evident after a single use.
It is made of aluminized steel, not stainless steel.
Price
It was expensive, but i would buy it again for the time it saves me and the longevity i will get out of it.

Well, the regular ones used to cost$15, now they're $30!
Shipping
Gets the coals ready fast, which means everyone doesn't have to wait as long for the food to be done.
The vendor virventuries of miami was perfect double boxed ship fast.
Packaging/appearance
Badly dented prior to packaging as the box was untouched.
Competitiveness

Even though the rosle and your typical $20 chimney, like our cuisinart are in whole different ballparks, i’m going to compare t... Read More
This isn't just a fancy brand name on the same crap--it's legit.
