Pros

The inside edges are smooth stainless steel, with no other sticky silicone or other plastic to trap grime. Don't have to worry about contaminating your clean hand.

They're a little bit of a flex, but they look amazing and are a joy to use. They feel weighty and strong. It is very sturdy and has good grip.

From one gadgeteer to another, you will not be disappointed with these. These are a game changer. They're just better and worth every penny.

Problem conveniently solved here. We have 2 homes and each home has 4 of these. Have subsequently bought three more sets.

Cons

Tongs are supposed to lock with a compression of the handles. The locking mechanism easily pops open - too easily. I try to lock them, put them on the counter, and they'll pop open on their own.
