The scraper mechanism is brilliant, and i spend a lot less time mincing. Cleaning the curved surface with holes is very easy if you soak the whole head of the mincer for a few minutes - the garlic remnants expand. Using every day.

It is advertised as 9 inches but is only 7 the ring at the end of one grip brings it to 8 inches
