Pros

Purchased after seeing winning reviews on atk. It has exceptional design and workmanship in the manufacturing of this product. It works well.

It's insanely sturdy and pours like a dream - plus the hook on the end can be used to hang for storage as well as keeping it from sliding into your pot full of liquid. The utensil is easy to use and is not sloppy when dipping soups.

Not only is it functional, but it is sturdy and beautiful. Superior to any plastic. Sturdy and easy to hold. Looks like it's made from pretty solid metal.

This item has a nice sheen, good heft and with a long strong handle to wield. One piece and thick stainless steel with a mirror finish.

Cons

There are several items that have been recalled due to high levels or lead or other metals which can leach into food from stainless. There was even a germany paper sticker pasted deceptively over the made in china sticker.

I understand the desire to improve margins, but this is not acceptible. It is thinner, less sturdy, and looks terrible. It’s not much better than the one you get from ikea for about 2$ as a bundle/set.
