This conical strainer is very well made and very sturdy. Although pricier than others, the cheaper strainers start to wear out after a shorter period of time. Great for rince quinoa and strain bone broth.

The gauge of the mesh, the sturdiness of the rim, the comfortable handle, the quality of construction and the fact that it can reach from side to side on my sink. The finest mesh imaginable.

Easy to clean. If i don't, it is easy to scrub with warm soapy water and a silicone brush. This works very well and is dishwasher safe.

Fine mesh strainer is worth its weight in much more than stainless steel. Stiff mesh, all stainless design, no mistakes in construction means i can use this strainer to strain, push puree through it.
