The xl has a 10. Always has been for uniforms. Wore these for softball. Sizes are consistent as stated.

The shorts are too big for shaq. The color is off and doesn't match the awu polo or t-shirt.

Deceptive sizing. Draw strings slip with the slightest movement.

for some unfathomable reason the slits for the * on the pockets are vertical instead of horizontal. The two top front pockets are shallow and the opening is too small to get my hand into easily. Very disapointed but need a conforming uniform item.

The cut i really prefer over others that can ride a bit too close to the private parts.

You need to find an bdu or acu size chart for the proper waist size as they are sized as military battle dress pants are.
