Pros

It's a little darker than i expected but khaki doesn't seem to be a specific color/shade. The length of brim is correct length and it holds the bends up put in.

In general this is a good hat, i'd recommend. Stitching seems well done, and the vent holes well affixed. But i assume it is what they used in nam.

Fit my melon head nicely. The hat fits a little more tightly than i had hoped, but not so much that it will be a problem.

Cons

Label clearly states only 55% cotton. Sneeze & it falls off, also not true tiger stripe. Was looking for authentic us military spec hat. Once you get rust stains as a result on the fabric they are almost impossible to remove.

Two separate sewn seams coming undone. Plastic in the brim severely limits what the hat is supposed to be. The chinstrap was sewed on at the 11 o’clock and 3 o‘clock positions.

I have not have too much weather to wear this but the overall quality is great.

I bought two more to have just in case this style of hat is no longer made.

My head size is a 6 7/8, and this hat ran uncomfortably tight on my head in that size.

Price

I wear this hat when i’m fishing and you can’t beat it for the price.

First off, try to remember that this is a $13 hat.

Good price for a hat with a larger size.

I found one at rei that i loved but it was $95.
