Feet also swell and flatten under heavy military loads. I wear a size 12, and ther were marked as a 12, but they were more like a 14!
The only good thing about these boots is the drain holes. These boots lose in comfort but win in durability slightly. Boots have 2 holes to allow feet to breath which is poorly designed as they inhale dust/dirt especially water.
The soles already have gouges, and the leather is weak, and cracking. The leather seams aren't skived, they scrape. The laces are not capable of withstanding an aqueous environment.

I’m using these for a screen accurate michael myers 1978 look and i am very happy with this product.
Fit as expected and looks quality made.
Other than being made in china i'm well pleased.
Competitiveness
I got some free soldier boots that looked great but were much heavier than these rothco jungle boots.
These rothco boots are 2 inches higher and lighter.
The rothco boots don't put any stress, pressure, or pain on the ankles.

Turns out their sizes are bigger than others so i then order a size 14 and the package said 14 on it

If you’re really wearing them hard long ruck marches on uneven terrain that sort of thing they may not be what you’re looking for
