Pros
Pith helmet has a great cooling effect. It lacks a chin-strap but that would be easy to install.
Great product. Excellent packaging and delivery. It was scratched a little in shipping but no big deal.
Inside head strap is flexible plastic with a small cloth-like rectangle of material at the very front to help catch sweat. The inner headband has an absorbent ring to prevent eye-stinging from perspiration. Great for big heads and little heads.
The hat falls between a straw hat (lightest) and a hard hat (heaviest) it shields you from the rain and the sun! The wide brim is pretty sick as well, countless hours under the sun starts to make me appreciate the sun-blocking power of this hat.
Durable plastic, adjustable. Very sturdy and adjustable. Durable and comfortable. Very comfortable and durable.
Cons
Two of the four rivets on the headban were not flared out.

I’m a elementary school crossing guard i had to paint this pith helmet neon lime yellow and add red lettering of company logo i bought this helmet after having talked to out mail carrier he told me it’s the greatest head covering he’s ever worn i wanted a hat that kept me dry in the rain and blocked the sun too i don’t like using a hood on the raincoat as it cuts down on my peripheral vision my only wish is that i could have bought the helmet in the color i painted it i’m actually surprised the us mail service hasn’t adopted to change their white helmets to this safety color yet as it would make their letter carriers more visible

Theres no padding inside so the hard plastic rests on top of your head
