Pros

These only fit the rothco canteen cups, but they fit perfectly. They snap on and hold tight. My old 80s cup is so perfect it actually clicks on!

Both are good quality stainless steel, and the lid fit perfectly. Works well enough to help boil water even if it is too small. Just good old stainless steel ( don't know what type though, like 300 series or 400 series ) together nice and light.

Cons

It's almost wide enough and almost long enough to fit either handle style of canteen cup. Does not fit wwm 89' gi issue.

So my falt here, but this is not a usgi style canteen cup/pot lid for cooking on a small camp stove or something.

Update: i got the new rothco canteen cup and it fits that one fine.

Works well but only fits rothco stainless canteen.
