Pros

Handle seems to not be a problem so far, strap is extendable and somewhat conmfortable. I am about to buy another, hoping the clasp problem was just an anomaly.

Cons

The construction is shoddy. The craftsmanship of the bag is simply poor.

The top flap is not long enough. The front clasp was not centered. Without this turning lock clasp grommet, the bag flap, flops up.

Smallness makes this bag feel awkwardly overstuffed compared to a backpack. Central compartment is really only big enough to hold one of today's gigantic oversized textbooks or a pair of shoes comfortably. The shoulder stap is very uncomfortable.

Many of the seams are crooked, frayed, falling apart. All of the velcro is very rough. There is no padding, and the hooks do not pivot.

A great bag at any price, and for $38.

I really say for this price you can't beat it and if you get in black it's sharp.

I was looking at some canvas conditioning products to restore it, when i realized for just another $20 or so, i could just get a new one.
