My brother has a $300 pen he has on him all the time and he gets mad people always ask about mine lol. The rotring is a solid pen. Now back to your bic.
The heft, form factor, and finish make it a joy to use. The only drawback with this version is a lack of spinning bezel which would display a color. For the ~$25 price point you can get it for here, it's a solid purchase.
Cons
The default refill is underwhelming, it skips a lot when you write. It is possible that i received a defective unit and this is not indicative of the implement you may receive if you order from this vendor.
The clicking mechanism sounds and feels scratchy and mushy. Very unsatisfying to click. The clicker for me is the biggest disappointment. It lacks heft, the clicking mechanism is spongy, overall it just isn't the same.
This rotring 600 is not a machined pen.

It feels incredibly sturdy, with a full metal body that screams quality.
Great grip, with the solid quality of rotring.
It was a great pen for the first few days, but then it came apart on me.
Ordinary pens are inconsistent in the amount of ink dispensed.
Price
This cool blue roring 600 is a great deal for the money,too.
Great value for this high quality german ink pen.
The ink refills are also expensive and not worth it.
For $30, i still wouldn't consider it the greatest value, but for what it is, it's a great product.

Packaging/appearance
Excellent fit and finish, nice and minimal packaging.
Came to love it so much i bought another in gold, likely will some day add a third if im being honest 😁.
Competitiveness
I used may brand name ballpen, but rotring is the most i like and most i m using !
Just purchased a second pen and a couple more packs of monteverde gel refills.
Overall, the rotring 600 is a fantastic pen.
