Pros

Something robust and fun to use. Much smoother than the original. It's like a reward for using the pen. If you're picky with pens, this is it.

Three cheers for rotring. Pair it with the *easyflow 9000. The 600 and 900 series use the parker ink inserts that are available online for a few bucks.

The ink refills are basic rollerball, but they always wright on the first go. I also have the mont blanc m, which is part of my edc. It's quite pricey for a ballpoint, but it's refillable.

It's a similar feel of a kaweco, but it's much thinner. It feels weighty but not inconveniently so.

Cons

This rotring 600 is not a machined pen. The ink is worse than a 10 cent bic pen.

The pen is very heavy which is fine but the center of gravity is located in the middle of the pen. Barrel is narrower than anticipated. Ok for vikings and hard workers. Unacceptable in for my edc pen.

Came to love it so much i bought another in gold, likely will some day add a third if im being honest 😁.

I received the pen already pressed down (tip exposed), so i don't think i received a brand new pen.

The pen came in a rectangular box vs the triangular box.

Competitiveness

I used may brand name ballpen, but rotring is the most i like and most i m using !

Just purchased a second pen and a couple more packs of monteverde gel refills.

Overall, the rotring 600 is a fantastic pen.
