Pros

The metal sleeve's narrowness makes it much easier to see where you are marking when using a straightedge. The line is beautifully smooth and teeny tiny. All feel well balanced in your hand. It feels solid, and has a great grip.

I find i write tons of stuff in pencil now, and use my fountain pens far less for everyday note taking. The eraser gets dirty all the time, but you can easily introduce a small circle of black cardstock and fix that.

The ticonderoga is an excellent writing instrument. They are so well built that you will minimize any fatigue you would experience with other writing instruments.

The rotring 600 is an excellent mechanical pencil. I only wish they would produce the 800 version (as opposed to the otherwise nice 600 version) with a retractable tip.

This is so fun to use. Got the. Mm for school. It works every single time.

Cons

The pocket clip extends a little too far down the barrel and can interfere with the way it rests on your hand if it happens to be turned downward. After 3 months writing daily, the tip was already displaced. Be careful to not apply too much pressure.

Solid pencil, good weight distribution, never jammed on me so far.

I bought it primarily for build quality and for having a pen with the ability to accept standard cartridges and i was not disappointed.

The retractable tip made the movement unreliable and prone to breakage.

Made in japan with a cartridge from france, this guy is nothing if not solid.

Price

I would definitely recommend this pencil to everybody who can afford it 👌👌👌

Not a very big deal, love this pencil.

It is little expensive, i bought this as a gift to my friend,he really likes it

It is expensive for a pencil however it will last longer than your normal mechanical pencil.

Packaging/appearance

This is also the only one i've bought that did not come in a triangular box.

If i'm wrong and the manufacturers could do better, please correct me.

7mm 600 was a much better idea.
