Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The rotrings pen marks a thin line,& this pen marks an extremely fine line.

The are super satisfying to use. I wish they had a. Gifted to my boyfriend this brand is his favorite!

The fine nib tends to clog, but when it works its the best. Works great for fine stippling which is what i do.

Cons

The reservoir has no threads sealing i wish it won't leak to dirty my hands. It's great that it's so fine, but that also means it's quite fragile. Sadly, this pen writes 2x thicker than the 0.

Rotring quality when it comes to the "needle" quality and the cap.

Price

Packaging/appearance

Arrived well packaged in a nice box.

The clear top of the box the pens come in also acts as a handy template with several diameters, a protractor and some other stuff.

This is a gift - the cardboard box is clearly worn: scuffs, scratches, corners banged up - a "used/worn" look.

Competitiveness

I have used other refillable technical pens but this one beats them all.

Rotring, the german company best known for their rapidograph technical pens and their superb compasses, also makes a rapidograp...  Read More

The white pens with the colored tabs by kor-i-noor are crap in comparison.

Ink does wash off well in comparison to the ink used by stampers.
