The pen's clicker is almost entirely made of nylon -- not brass -- and jams constantly.

Competitiveness
I have over a dozen rotring mechanical pencils and pens.
That being said, switch out the standard rotring ink for a schmidt easyflow 9000 -- it'll help the pen flow a lot.

This is relatively minor but the logo on the shaft of the pen will wear off after a few months of everyday use

There are many compatible cartridges but not all will work as smoothly as the original

For example i love the parker gel in refill and it fits fine but for some reason it does not always click open and closed when i use the parker brand

This is a great writing pen but it does have flaws the threaded plastic piece between the grip and the barrel which breaks if you drop it and the cheap plastic inside for the clicker
