I have had a lot more lead breaks however which is a downside but it does not outweigh the quality of writing i can produce.

The lead advancement is smooth and it has a good balance.

All other ones i have ordered come in original packaging.

The lead advance is not as precise like they are in the rotring 500's and up.

Competitiveness

I use a rotring tikky to take notes in my college courses.

I have a rotring 600 which is all metal and feels more substantial but the tikky is a good everyday pencil.

Just to clarify all rotring pencils are made in germany.
